Les Helmuth has over 45 years of experience in nonprofit leadership at Eastern Mennonite University, Spokane Symphony, Eastern Mennonite School, and Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community's Foundation. Additionally, he has been actively involved as a consultant to boards of directors on board development, fundraising, and management. As a musician, he has sung with the Bach Festival every year since it started, with one exception, and enjoys the opportunity music offers to bring the community together. He has also been a soloist for the Shenandoah Valley Choral Society, performing many of the major oratorios of choral literature. Mr. Helmuth looks forward to working with David Berry, Artistic Director, and the Advisory Board of The Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival.
